Finish the Journey with Feng Shui

CLEARING CLUTTER – MAINTENANCE
Is your car regularly serviced?
Do you replace fuses and light bulbs as soon as they blow?
Do you check your tyre pressure regularly?
Have you got a regular maintenance check you perform without fail?
Avoiding these important procedures creates intangible negative Energy that gives you an unsettled feeling without knowing the reason why.
Where is your car parked overnight?
Your car is aggressive and predatory by nature so parking it with the front towards your home is inviting negative Energy indoors.
If you have an integral garage, backing the car in will ensure it is not ‘threatening’ your home in any way.
Parked on your driveway, your car is better parked with its back to the home and not towards it.  Not only will this ensure its predatory nature will not threaten your home, it will also act as a protector.
Your car is Yang Metal and depending on its colour its nature can be enhanced still further or calmed down.
A blue or a black car is a Yin colour on a Yang vehicle and will create a calming effect.
Red and white are Yang colours and how you drive your vehicle can reflect this.
Green is a growth colour and any Earth colour is a stabilizing and solid colour.
KUA NUMBER
What is your Kua number?
Do you know your good and bad directions?
You can match your car colour to your Kua number to enhance your personal strength.
If you travel with your work you can enhance your ‘Success’ direction with your car
If you are focused on your ‘Family’ your car colour can match your ‘Love and Family’ direction
If ‘Health’ and ‘Mentors’ are important to you, your car colour can reflect this
If you are studying or improving your knowledge base in your job you can match your car colour to this
INTERIOR
Just like the inside of your home, your car benefits from a harmonious feel.
Introduce some Yin elements such as a cushion or two in the back seats.
Having something blue inside creates a calming, focused space.
Keeping bottled water with you will introduce the Water element, as well as provide a thirst quencher.
This is especially important when you are travelling long distances.
A crystal in your car, being the Earth element, provides grounding and stability and will help dissipate any negative Energy lurking around.
An air freshener will also invite a sweet smelling, pleasant interior.
If you travel long distances on a regular basis keeping six peacock feathers in the car will protect you and help keep your car safe when you are parked.
Birds are always positive and if you have the image of a bird in your car it will bring good omens and protect you when travelling.
The image of a Laughing Buddha on your dashboard can take away all the stress associated with travelling.
TRAVELLING
If you are travelling alone, listening to music is a harmonious accompaniment on your journey.
Remember, that the type of music, just like the colour of your car, will reflect how you drive.
If you listen to loud rap, or heavy rock music; your driving will tend to reflect that
If you listen to catchy, sing-along music you will be relaxed and happy
If you listen to slow, quieter music this could have the effect of making you sleepy
Your car is as much a part of your life as your home and your work, so the Feng Shui elements relating to your home are just as relevant in your car.
A free-flow of positive Chi Energy is important to both.
Spending a little time creating harmony is well worth it to ensure that any journey you take, short or long, is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
This allows you to arrive at your destination calm, focused and happy, whatever the experiences you have encountered along the way.

Enjoy Your Journey with Feng Shui

The journey, in case you are wondering, is your car journey.
Whether you use your vehicle for fun and enjoyment; for ferrying your children around; or travelling on business; Feng Shui can help make the experience a healthier, happier and more relaxing one.
You are no doubt thinking -
‘You must be joking, have you been on the roads lately?
‘We lurch from one traffic jam, set of road works, hold up and incident, to another’
Yes, today’s roads are busy.
However, doesn’t that make it all the more important to enjoy the time you have to spend on them?
Especially if travelling by car is a way of life for you.
Doesn’t it make sense to make the whole experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible?
You don’t really want to spend several hours of your day tense, uptight and frustrated, do you?In 2006 a worldwide provider of risk management, management consulting and insurance underwriting services commissioned a study relating to the Feng Shui of cars. http://aon.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=25776&item=62334
The company provides insurance cover for wealthy clients owning high value, prestige or classic cars and they felt the study was a worthwhile exercise in finding ways to reduce stress levels and improve the quality of your driving experience.
YOUR CAR
Your car is as much an area worthy of Feng Shui consideration as your home or your office.
It is a space in which you spend time and so deserves the same attention as your home.
It also follows that there are certain principles relevant to both.
Good-quality cars are usually kept in immaculate condition by their owners.
Older, more functional cars are often grubby and used as a ‘dumping ground’ for papers, empty packets, cans and bottles and so on.
How much do you appreciate and care for your car?
Your home and your car are reflections of your appreciation of them.  If you care for them they will reciprocate and take care of you.
The internal energy of your vehicle will reflect the attitudes of its occupants.
If you are constantly uptight and angry, the chances are the inside of your car has a lot of negative Energy swirling around in it.
This will perpetuate your feelings making it a downward spiral.
CLEARING CLUTTER - INTERIOR
Is the inside of your car clutter free?
The inside is the interior you can see, the boot you cannot see and the glove compartment.
These are all areas prone to clutter and if not kept clear create negative Energy in your car.
Do you know where your tools, fire extinguisher, spare wheel and torch are?
Should you have to locate them can you do so without stress; without having to move papers, briefcases, shopping bags to find them?
A clear, clean and tidy interior allows the free flow of positive Energy in your car as well as your home.
Sprinkling sea salt crystals on the floor of your car from time to time will help absorb negative Energy caused by clutter and stress, or complaining passengers!
Leave the crystals for a while to allow them to do their work and then clean them out.
Salt is a powerful cleanser.
Another cleanser is space clearing and this can be as simple as sitting in your vehicle and clapping your hands to remove any negative Energy build-up and replace it with positive Yang Energy.
CLEARING CLUTTER – EXTERIOR
Is your car cleaned regularly?
Are the windows always sparkling clean?
The windows of your car, just like the windows of your home, are the eyes; they invite Chi Energy in from outside.
If they are dirty the quality of Chi is affected.
More on Clearing Clutter in your Car next time.
To the fulfillment of your dreams
